The SolitaireSMART system adds the power of smart card technology to the functionality of the Solitaire 710-II system. This technology enables hotels to increase both their operations efficiency and security of their property by monitoring their staff using staff SMARTkeycards.
Featuring heavy-duty all metal construction and state of the art technology, SolitaireSMART offers unsurpassed security and efficiency. Unique in its design, the system is equipped with a state-of-the-art dual-technology insert reader that operates with a smart keycard or magnetic-stripe keycard.
With this dual technology, it is able to read both keycards and write data back to the smart card. This read/write capability is the basis for all the features that make SolitaireSMART the security solution of choice for so many quality-lodging establishments.
The SolitaireSMART locks and Front Desk Unit (FDU) (with external Smart reader) can read and encode information on the memory chip contained in Smart cards, giving the lock the ability to communicate with the FDU via the Smart card. Smart cards can store the audit from a lock and transport it to the FDU, eliminating the need to carry the FDU to the lock.
Security and accountability are unsurpassed as staff Smart keycards record an audit trail of their last 100 transactions. Management is able to monitor staff movements and routines quickly and easily by auditing the staff member’s Smart card through the external FDU Smart technology reader. SolitaireSMART not only provides hotels with state of the art security, but it can also add to the upscale ambiance of your establishment.
