The Front Desk Unit (FDU) is the stand-alone brain of the system, which encodes keycards, programs and audits the locks with no need for a separate computer or database. It not only remembers what keycards were issued, but also who issued them.
It is ideal for smaller facilities in need of single or multiple workstation applications.
The small compact Front Desk Unit (FDU) is stand-alone meaning it requires no wiring and no computer. With a small footprint, it takes minimum front desk space.
The FDU has a user-friendly menu and it offers 4,000 entry audit of the keycards encoded / verified trough it. Smaller hotels as well as larger can use it since it can handle up to 16,000 rooms and the up to 64 FDU can be used concomitantly in a hotel, without a network.
