Customised Locking Systems
Creating customised locks and using high security cylinders in bespoke security products has been a significant part of Kaba in the UK.
With a product design, development and manufacturing facility based in the UK, Kaba is able to work with our clients to create tailor-made products based upon their specific needs and the particular environment that the product is to be used within.
Kaba has worked with many companies within the power, water and telecommunication industries due to the unique security requirements they have. A combination of remote sites, exposure to the elements, the need for durability and protecting against evolving security threats has resulted in Kaba's UK design team constantly developing new products.
It is not just these companies that have unique security requirements. Many manufacturers of equipment need to incorporate a locking system, whether it is mechanical, or mechatronic and Kaba works with the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) industry to develop new housings and adapters so they can include Kaba's high security products. Many of Kaba's OEM customers highlight the fact that they incorporate a customised high security cylinder as a feature to differentiate themselves from their competitiion.
Although no two projects are the same, Kaba's design team have been developing bespoke cylinder solutions for over 25 years in the UK within a wide range of industries, so they have the experience and knowledge to work with any client to develop the right solution.
