Every airport is surrounded by extensive grounds that need to be protected against unauthorised entry. Entrances along the perimeter fence, which provide access for airport staff, vehicles, deliveries, external companies, etc., can be problematic as far as security is concerned.
Access control units for these checkpoints must therefore be functional, robust and weather-proof.
